Travel Vaccinations Available
Treatment at our clinics typically begins with a consultation, where our experienced travel nurses will discuss your needs based on your medical history. The vaccines we commonly discuss include:
- Hepatitis A – A viral infection spread through contaminated food and water, which causes inflammation of the liver.
- Cholera – A potentially fatal infection of the small intestine that causes acute diarrhoea and vomiting, which in turn can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
- Yellow Fever – A serious and sometimes fatal viral disease that is spread by mosquitoes in tropical parts of Africa and South America.
- Tick-Borne Encephalitis (TBE) – A viral disease that is spread by infected ticks. It can cause a flu-like illness, fever, headache, nausea, muscle pain and general discomfort.
